Taking time to think about what I have
learned in this course about children's identities and development and the ways
in which each is impacted by bias, discomfort, and trauma, these are the reflections that come to mind. This is the artwork inside of my head when I think of the various bias and traumas that affect children.
Hello Neketha,
ReplyDeleteThoughtful and well laid out, I especially like your first one Reading between the lines, which depicts the magnifying glass. It brought to mind the topic we did some time ago on microaggression, those subtle words, looks and behaviour which harms and makes pople uncomfotable. Good job

Hi Naketha,
ReplyDeleteThis was nicely done. It is very interesting and thought provoking to think children are growing from what the situations they are facing. Great job!

Naketha,
ReplyDeleteVery nice, interesting picture on the child with homelessness and the grip around the throat. How profound. Nice job
